Birthday Party

This year, we decided to have McKay's 3rd birthday party at a place called "The Craze." It has all sorts of stuff there like laser tag, miniature golf, an arcade, but it also has a room just for little kids. That room has tunnels, slides, a bouncy house, and lots of toys. It was the perfect place for 8 little kids to run around for a couple of hours (and get totally worn out for the day!). Here are some pictures of the day - you'll probably be able to tell that McKay had a really fun birthday party!
Helping Daddy crack eggs for his cupcakes.

Hard work deserves a reward!
"Cool, Mama, Cool!" was McKay's reaction to all his new toys!

There was cupcake all over - and up his nose! Gross.

So glad Archie had a good time, too!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Thursday was McKay's 3rd birthday. I can't believe my baby is such a big boy! I celebrated by taking the afternoon off work so I could take McKay out to lunch at McDonalds. We had a really fun time and it was going great until it came time to leave - the little stinker rushed up to the top of the play area and refused to come down. Then, after climbing up to get him, he had a total melt down while I was putting his coat on. He was so tired...and I was really frustrated!

When Sean got home he made a special dinner of chicken da'Dan and let McKay watch extra episodes of Power Rangers. Then he got to open his gifts from us - a tooth brush and new bath toys. Today was his party, but I'll save that post for another day.

Loves his Spiderman toothbrush.
It tickles!
Fun with new bath toys!!

How cute is that Spiderman mask?! His sitter, Erin, made it for him.
Turns out, even super heroes need to snuggle with their blankies  :o)

The Hulk

McKay is really into super heroes right now so Sean and I figured that the Hulk was the easiest costume to put together. I'm all for easy (aka no sewing). He was thrilled and loved being in costume. Sean even taught him to say "Hulk, smash!" and he got really good at saying "trick or treat" - it was so cute! Also, the weather was surprisingly perfect so that was an awesome plus.
