Everything's up to date...

10 points if you get that reference  :o)

The first part of our trip was spent in Kansas City with Sean's Dad and Betsy. I wished I had done a better job with taking more pictures, but I do love the ones we got. We had a fun time going to the zoo, eating yummy frozen yogurt, playing in the backyard, and going to the amazing Brazilian restaurant Fogo de Chao. {My mouth is watering right now!}

Three generations  :o)
Jeff, Sean, and McKay playing outside

McKay loved getting wet with the mist machine.
Checking out the cool frog water fountain
Kayo loves his Daddy!

On our way to Ohio we stopped in Indianapolis and stayed with my friend Emily and her husband Ryan. They were so sweet and fun to watch with McKay. We had a great time with them!

Are you P.T?

Remember that joke from middle school? The one where you'd say no and then the mean bully girl would say, "you're not potty trained?!" so then you'd say yes and she'd say, "you're a pregnant teenager?!" You could never win with that one.

Anyways, yesterday was Potty Training Day. I was dreading it for some time now since I've heard how hard and messy it is (and it really is!). Thankfully, I found some really great ideas from Pinterest and followed THIS ONE and it turned out to be a pretty successful day!

Pumping McKay full of liquids

I just love his little bum in undies!

We hung out in the kitchen most of the day (and away from the carpet) so we could be close to the potty.

His prize for being such a big boy? My Little Pony...the perfect gift for a big boy!

The pony's long hair is the perfect thing to swing her from.
Today we're doing more of less the same thing, but Sean and I are taking hour shifts this time. McKay does fine when the potty is nice and close, but how do you transition to being able to go out and not having to run to the potty every 10 minutes? Ideas appreciated  :o)

Our first week of summer

Don't worry, I'm not planning on going through each week of our summer vacation, although that's not a terrible idea...hmmm. Anywho here are just some pictures of my week with McKay while Sean finished up Driver's Ed.

McKay's favorite thing to do at the park is to dig in the bark, rocks, dirt, whatever, so I got him these beach tools from the dollar store. As you can see, he does not like to share (but I make him!).

Sometimes you just have to play with your kids at the park and not just watch them (like I usually do!). He were are getting ready to go down the slide.

I finally got a chance to take McKay to iJump in IF. What a cool place! I highly recommend it. McKay dove right into the foam pit.

He climbed, ran, and hopped all over the place!

Taking a well deserved break!

We are actually in Kansas City visiting Sean's dad and Betsy right now so I'll have to post about our trip next time  ;o)

phone pictures

This is just too amazing! I took this picture on Monday, and today is Thursday, which means school got out yesterday! I'm soooo ready for summer break!
Me and my little boyfriend. Whatever - it's not weird that I just called him that...

Poor baby woke up with a bloody nose yesterday. It scared me to death to see him with blood on his face. Luckily, he was fine.

He does love his bath, but McKay's smiling extra big because he had just tooted.

P.S. Kim - my mom has figured out how to leave comments, so it looks like you'd better start researching how!

Pink Eye

One day last week I woke up with a crusty, goopy eye. Gross, Pink Eye. I've gotten it a few times since I've been a teacher. My principal sent me home right away because he didn't want it to spread to the students. It happened to be a beautiful day, so after I went and picked up some eye drops and got McKay from the sitters we headed to the park. Luckily my eyes are fine now and neither McKay or any of my students caught it. Win-Win.

P.S. Only 5 more days of work until SUMMER VACATION!!!

2 1/2

We love our little man - even though he's been a stinker lately!

Happy 2 1/2 Birthday

P.S. Yeah, he's holding a $100 bill. Sean is way too trusting of our toddler.

A couple weeks ago when it was warm...

As you can probably guess from the title, these pictures are a couple weeks old. It was 80 degrees for a few days and we LOVED it! McKay and I were outside the majority of the weekend. Rexburg has since gone back to it's cold/windy spring self. Although today was pretty nice too  :o)

Come on Duckies! Get the bread!

We have since cut this boy's long hair!

McKay has to dump out all his books in order to find just what he's looking for.
