Last post of CA ???

I know you're all really wanting to see pictures from our trip to CA, but unfortunately these are the last of the pictures on my computer. What's that, you say? You demand more, and know that we did so much more while we were there? You're right! There is more, but I have to wait for TAYLOR to do a post on her blog so that I can pull the pictures from there, since she was so nice to be the photographer for all our outings. So, please Taylor, get on it   ;o)

Alrighty, now that I've called her out, here are some pictures from our day at the water park.
BTW these are actually Taylor's pictures...Thanks Ho-Ho

Milla and McKay showing off their wrist bands to get into the park. We went there 6 days ago and McKay won't let us take it off yet!

The life vests seem a little silly in the baby pool, but were handy when going down those slides in the back and in the lazy river.

Big Guy, Pam, and Kristi came to visit and McKay loved playing hide and seek with them.

Date Night...at our favorite Italian restaurant!

Farmer's and Desserts

One of my favorite things about SLO is their Farmer's Market. Every Thursday evening the main road downtown is blocked off and vendors of every kind are there. You can do, see, or buy just about anything from dream interpretations, hearing musicians, face painting, speaking to an Atheist, lots of dinner choices, and of course getting the best produce around. The only bad thing is in the summer time Farmer's Market here is a huge tourist attraction, so it was really crowded. Good thing I'm a tourist here (kinda) so I don't mind it too much!

Taylor and Kim LOVE to made yummy desserts so I'm pretty sure I've gained around 10 pounds since we've been here. This was one of my favorite though. Taylor made us Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes and they were amazing. I feel like the pictures don't do it justice, because they were really beautiful and delicious in real life!

Kim loved her snuggle time with Kayo before bedtime!

On to California!

We are currently in CA visiting Sean's family. This trip couldn't have come at a better time, with the move and all. Just like with Lillia, McKay loves playing with his cousin Milla. I'm so glad that McKay has cousins that are close in age to him on both sides of our families. Anyways here are some pictures of the cute, crazy pair.

Milla and McKay helping Grandma water her plants

Isn't Grandpa's treehouse the  coolest? Also, I think McKay looks like such a big boy here.

Milla helping McKay up the stairs. So sweet.

Getting our tan on!

How sweet is this picture? They were fighting over a toy 30 seconds before this ... Gotta love toddler cousins!

Final Ohio post of the summer

Here's Becca getting ready to stuff all of the gum the kids got from the parade into her mouth...
Chew, chew!
Ewww!

Here Becca and I were trying to do poses like the Daybook girl. I think we nailed it  :o)

I also did a mini photo shoot for Becca and her family. There were so many cute ones.

Becca and Ari Boy

McKay laying on the stairs watching a movie... other kids do things like this, right?

I love, love, LOVE my family!
Okay, that's it! I'm done posting pictures from Ohio. That's good since we've been in California for almost a week now!

Tonight we are young

Can you guess what song is stuck in my head?

Sadly, we are not in Ohio anymore, but the next couple posts will probably still look like we are. We are back in Idaho and have moved apartments in the last few days. Moving is the worst and it's something I don't want to do for a long time! I didn't document the move at all because we were gross, sweaty, sore, and grumpy the whole time. On to a happier subject though...

McKay LOVES his cousin Ari. I love this picture and my Ari Baby!

My mom waited patiently for McKay to snuggle with her - Bubbe heaven!

Kristin and McKay

She's just too fun!

Kayo tried so hard to make his mean face at Garrett, but how can you make that face at someone so funny?

Emily and Ryan played with us as well!

Our little get together with Kristin, me, and Emily. I miss my high school girls!

4th of July

It was WAY too hot in Ohio on the 4th for me to possibly carry one more thing, so I didn't bring my camera to any of the events. Seriously...98 degrees that day... and humid. It was miserable! BUT we did have a good 4th. Here's the evidence.
This is Becca's first attempt of playing around with pictures. I'd say she did pretty good - except she made it look like I dressed my son in some crazy hat. I did not  :o)

Becca's super yummy holiday treat. You can eat three pieces since it has fruit on it, right?

McKay and me right after the parade. We were a hot and sweaty mess. It was gross.
McKay's first fireworks. He's trying to turn back around to see them. He kept on saying "more!". Also since the only color he really knows is blue he would say blue and "not blue" to describe them. Silly boy!

Future Fire Fighter?

4th Friday in Westerville

We went to Cincinnati to visit my high school BFF, Kristin!

McKay inside of the puppy Jax's crate

Such a cute puppy!

Who's that goof ball over there?

Last Friday was the storm of the year! There was a crazy, intense rain and wind that left all kinds if damage in the area. It stretched from Indiana to D.C. Trees and electric poles were down everywhere you looked and so many people lost power (even today after 5 days there's people without power - did I mention it's been around 100 degrees outside?) so it's been really rough. My parents got super lucky and had power and no damage. This is a house 3 doors down from them.

A common sight here.

Really sad
